The current benefits system still required manual data entry for open enrollment and did not have carrier or payroll files set up with any automation or efficiency. Two separate systems were being used to support and enroll the core and voluntary benefit offerings. Employee communications were all distributed via a manual and paper process separate from the benefits systems. All the manual and paper processes created burden and nonvalue-added work for the HR staff with already limited resources, and confusion for the employees on where to go for communication resources and enrollment.


This organization partnered with MyWorkplace to automate manual and paper processes, while deploying one common platform for all benefits information, enrollment, and administration service.


Deploying the MyWorkplace platform and solution for full benefits administration and open enrollment support, created automated EDI feeds to carriers and payroll reporting processes. Provided employees with a one stop for all benefits information and enrollment.
